Frontdoors Magazine is proud to present the annual Society of Chairs gala event to celebrate the close of the 2019-2021 fundraising seasons. This special evening serves as a toast to the women, men and institutions in our community that have worked tirelessly to make a positive impact on our community across the entire philanthropic sector. The 2020-2021 Society of Chairs Honoree is Billie Jo Herberger.

Society of Chairs History – The Society of Chairs gala was started by Linda Herold in 2010 and then presented by National Bank of Arizona from 2014 to 2017. Since 2018, Frontdoors Magazine is honored to continue this tradition of inviting the Valley’s philanthropic community to join us for this special evening as well as the tradition of presenting awards to deserving individuals with event sponsors.

Giving Back – Event proceeds will benefit TGen via the official foundation of Frontdoors Media, The Sauce Foundation, in honor of our former editor and dear friend who passed away from pancreatic cancer in 2017. Not only has TGen continued to make great progress in both the treatment and early detection of pancreatic cancer, their work on COVID-19 — from testing to tracking to advanced genomic studies — has also made them internationally recognized pandemic experts who regularly serve and advise international, national, and local agencies.
